Strange (but Effective) System for Distributing Free Stuff in Morris County, NJ

Maybe six months back, I joined an online group called Freecycle, designed to help people give their no longer wanted stuff to other people who want it, reducing the amount of otherwise usable clothes, toys, appliances, you name it, that might otherwise end up in a landfill. Freecyclers can post items they want to give away, or items on their wish lists, then other Freecyclers receive the posts via email and respond. My only complaint is that the e-mail contact from Freecycle can be a bit overwhelming.
